Indeed these are exciting times…For the past two months I’ve been prepping, priming and perfecting for my brand new single SUPERSTAR which I’ve produced and written.  Through this I’ll also be debuting as a video director! :)

I’ve officially launched the cover photo for my new release, which was taken by the amazing Christina Lind. I can’t wait to show you guys the video I’ve been working on which I couldn’t do with out the super talented likes of Andy Valencia, Santino Harold Tolentino Borinaga as well as Christina Lind.

Oh, how I love youtube…and how I love singing with Uffe, Morten & Parsberg aka Safri Duo, with whom I always have fun! Just wanted to share with you this most amazing night in Poland where we recently closed the Baltic Days Festival…we def turned it out! :)  The raw energy from the Uffe & Morten’s percussions, along and the beautiful people of Szczecin, Poland who showed up in an ASTOUNDING amount of 150.000 people (according to the bookers) made the whole experience SICK and OUTTA THIS WORLD! Hallelu! Hope you’ll enjoy it…

After an amazingly fun weekend with Safri Duo in Cologne (I’ll post about that next), I went straight to Nørrebro to give my offering at a charity concert for “De Sygemeldte” - the sick and unable to work. It was a beautiful sunny day perfectly reflecting the generous love coming from all the organizers and contributing performers, of which I was one, offering my rendition of one of my fave songs by Chaka Khan and Bruce Hornsby! Here’s an audio file till I get hold of the video! Big thanks Frederik Rosenkjær for making my piano and mic sound so beautiful! :) Hope you’ll enjoy it…

I got this beautiful and powerful recording from one of my favorite teachers Marianne Williamson (whom I had the privilege to meet at Unity on the Upper West Side, NY) who in a very tangible and modern way discusses the metaphysical and spiritual meaning of this significant day. I wish you all a Happy Easter and Happy Passover, and let this day be one of celebration and let us “rise from the dead” knowing we all have within us the power to the live the greatest life ever…

Today’s my Birthday! Wow…another year has passed, and I’m so ready and in focus for yet another step on this amazing and adventurous journey! Before midnight I wrote myself a birthday letter, thanking the Universe for all the blessings, and all that was, now is, and to become! In so doing, I reminded myself how wonderful every step of this life is (even though things sometimes seem rough) and how I, when I CHOOSE it, always am in perfect harmony and sync with the tides that undoubtably always carry me to all my heart’s destinations! I am deeply appreciative to my family and friends for all their love and support, and a special thank you to Jakob for everything! :) We’re going to Paris! Yeahhhh baby :) 

In return for all the love, I’d like to give away part of myself and my passion. This song always makes me feel good, and what is better than to pass along a good feeling? :) Hope you’ll enjoy it…

I just had a blast of a weekend playing with the Danish percussion hit team Safri Duo. It’s every musician’s dream come true to play and have fun on stage with other talented guys! I’ll be featured again with Safri Duo during the Summer on stages around Europe. Stay tuned for more info. Here’s a sneak peak of our first gig together…enjoy! :) PS. So much to do, so little time….is what probably most of us think. But I choose to look at it from a more advantageous point of view, which is, so many dreams to fulfill, so many adventures to experiences…

I have a new single-ep coming out, called BEAUTIFUL, which I’ve created with the very talented Jesper Sidelmann, who’s turned the knobs for my friend Ida Corr to name a few! To describe it concisely, it simply is BEAUTIFUL! I call it a soulful symphonic electronic experience talking about the duality of LOVE. It reaches out to everyone in relationships, which means, it’s Universal, since we all are tied in together. Lover-Lover, Mother-Son, Sister-Father, Mother Child etc. I can’t wait to announce more about it in the coming few weeks.

Next project is one to fulfill my spiritual needs. One which is to share God’s Love in a more traditional way, through Gospel music. I grew up in church, so my first songs were songs of the Universal peace and love, and therefore I am coming full circle by sharing this other dimension of me, which in fact is present in all my music, whether spiritual or wordly. Along with some dear old friends of mine, Linda Andrews, Claus Christensen and Nellie Ettison (all famed and accomplished musicians from Denmark) we call the project PRAISE UNITED! Our launch show which will feature some of Denmark’s finest musicians, as well as a major Gospel Choir, will take place in Copenhagen on March 17th 2011 @ Christians Kirken 8PM. Buy tickets here.
